May 2014

In mid-May, we were ready for school to be over, Audrey's cousin Calvin (my sister's son) was born, Audrey learned to roll over finally, and I hit up some garage sales to tide us over on baby clothes for the next year.

Playing our apps after school

Audrey has her own app folder on my iPod.  She loves to play her ABC app and watch the Fisher-Price puppy go shopping for healthy snacks.

We'd been trying to work with Audrey on rolling over for a few months, but were getting nowhere.  We raised our concern to our family doctor, who didn't worry about Audrey's development because she was hitting all her other milestones either early or on time.  Since Audrey is in the 100th percentile for height and weight, Dr. McKnight ventured that Audrey just needed to grow some more and build muscle to roll herself over since she was a larger baby.  Made sense, but I still worried.  While waiting for Calvin to be born, Audrey decided she wanted to remind us that she was around, too, and rolled over!  It's an easy day to remember, since it's Calvin's birthday (her first laugh was also on Christmas day, and she first crawled on my grandma's birthday.  Thanks for making it easy on me, Audrey!).

Clothes for Audrey for next year (and some for Calvin, too!)

Big girl toys!

We have enough toys now to need a toybox.  *Sigh*
